A planned transfer directly from the airport to the exhibition or congress center minimizes wasted time, especially for corporate visitors with limited schedules. Main exhibition and congress centers in Istanbul

• Tüyap Fuar ve Kongre Merkezi — Located in Büyükçekmece, on the western side of the city; it hosts many large-scale industry exhibitions.
• CNR Expo — Located in Yeşilköy, close to the city center and the former Atatürk Airport area.
• Lütfi Kırdar Istanbul Congress and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) — In Harbiye, within walking distance of Taksim; one of the most frequently preferred venues for international congresses.
• Haliç Kongre Merkezi — On the shores of the Golden Horn, close to the historic peninsula.

Since these four venues are located in different parts of the city, which airport you arrive at (Istanbul Airport or SAW) and which center you are heading to can significantly affect the total transfer time.

Time differences by airport

The general trend is as follows: because Istanbul Airport is in the northwest of the city, it is relatively closer to Tüyap and CNR Expo, both on the European side. Since Lütfi Kırdar and Haliç Kongre Merkezi are close to the city center, access from both airports is planned on a similar basis.

Because the exact duration varies depending on traffic density on the exhibition date, if you need to arrive for an important meeting or opening time, it is recommended to finalize the route the day before.

How is corporate group transfer planned?

At exhibitions, it is usually not just one person but a group of employees traveling together. In this case, three options stand out:

1. Group transfer with a single vehicle — the group arriving on the same flight is taken to the exhibition venue in one vehicle.

2. Multiple vehicle coordination — for employees arriving on different flights, several vehicles are dispatched to the same destination.

3. Full-day allocation — the vehicle and chauffeur are allocated to the group throughout the exhibition; hotel-to-exhibition round trips during lunch breaks or evening dinner transfers can also be planned within the same allocation.

The importance of early planning during exhibition periods

During major exhibition weeks, both airport and city traffic are busier than usual; many participants travel along similar routes at the same time. During these periods:

• Vehicle reservations should be made as early as possible
• Flight number and landing time should be provided clearly
• The transfer time should be planned not according to the venue entry time, but according to the total time needed to arrive by then

Daily hotel-to-exhibition transfer

At multi-day exhibitions, participants often need transfers from the hotel to the exhibition every morning and from the exhibition back to the hotel in the evening. Separate from a one-time airport transfer, this can be planned as a daily recurring service throughout the exhibition period — continuity with the same chauffeur and vehicle eliminates the need for participants to provide information again each day.
