How Does Hotel Transfer Service Work?

"Hotel transfer" is often used in everyday conversation to mean the same as airport transfer, but in fact it is a broader concept: it covers transfers from hotel to airport, hotel to hotel, and even group transfers that stop at multiple hotels in a single day. In this article, we explain the steps of the process and how group/multi-stop arrangements work.

How does the process work step by step?

1. Reservation. The departure point (airport or address), hotel name, date-time, and the number of passengers and luggage items are provided.

2. Flight tracking (if it is an airport transfer). The landing time is monitored using the flight number, and in case of a delay, the meeting time is updated automatically.

3. Meet-and-greet. At the airport, the passenger is welcomed by our professional greeting team at the TÜRSAB-designated meeting point; for hotel departures, the vehicle waits ready at the hotel entrance.

4. Journey. Direct transfer is made to the hotel address.

5. Drop-off. The vehicle arrives up to the hotel entrance; assistance with unloading luggage is provided.

Hotel-to-hotel transfer

For passengers who spend part of their vacation in one hotel and the rest in another hotel in the same city, hotel-to-hotel transfer works on the same principle. The only difference in these transfers is that the check-out/check-in times of both hotels must be taken into account — especially if there is a gap between the check-out time and the new hotel’s check-in time, this should be specified when planning.

Multi-stop and group transfer

It is common for passengers traveling in one vehicle to stay at different hotels — for example, part of a group of friends arriving on the same flight may stay in one hotel while the rest stay in another. In this case:

• All stops are provided in order during the reservation.
• The route is planned in the most logical sequence according to the hotels’ locations (for example, starting from the hotel closest to the airport and continuing in order).
• The estimated arrival time for each stop is shared approximately based on the duration of the previous stops.

For large groups or when there are many stops, Mercedes Sprinter class is more suitable in terms of both luggage and passenger capacity.

Late-night or early-morning transfers

Some hotel transfers take place after midnight or in the early morning — especially for night flights. At these hours, it is recommended to confirm during the reservation whether the hotel reception is open 24/7 and whether there are any night security procedures (some hotels require advance notice for night entry); no additional step is required on the transfer side.

• If there are multiple stops, the order of all of them
